Crypto intelligence methodology

FynSight crypto pages are observation layers on top of public market data. We classify momentum regimes, map cycle position on deep-tier assets, and match today's technical fingerprint to historical twins. We do not generate trade signals or price targets.

• Live prices and 24h ranges: Binance USDT perpetuals where listed, CoinGecko markets API as fallback.
• Daily OHLCV history: SQLite daily tables (BTC, ETH, SOL) built from exchange and Yahoo sources.
• Fear & Greed: Alternative.me composite sentiment index.
• Futures positioning: Binance long/short and taker flow ratios (BTC benchmark).
• INR indicative price: USD/INR via CoinGecko USDT/INR proxy. Display only.

Multi-timeframe regime reads 1H, 4H, and 1D EMA structure on Binance OHLCV. Internal labels map to compliance-safe momentum: positive, negative, transitioning, or mixed. Asset pages show per-coin regimes; the hub shows BTC and ETH benchmark timeframes.

Five pillars on BTC daily history: trend structure (EMA gap), price exhaustion (RSI + Bollinger), cycle depth (drawdown vs 1y high), on-chain MVRV when available, and funding positioning. Votes aggregate into cycle zones (low, high, mid). Ethereum uses a 3-pillar cycle-lite variant without on-chain MVRV.

We fingerprint each day by EMA gap, ATR%, drawdown from rolling high, and volume ratio. Days within tolerance of today's fingerprint are historical twins. We report average forward returns at 7, 14, 30, and 60 days and the share of twins positive at 30 days. Past patterns are not forecasts.

API cache: 2 to 5 minutes on upstream data. Website ISR: 5 minutes with scoped revalidation every 10 minutes from our data VM. Visible timestamps are always IST.
