What the index measures
Alternative.me combines volatility, volume, social sentiment, surveys, dominance, and trends into a single 0 to 100 score. Below 25 is extreme fear. Above 75 is extreme greed. Mid-range readings are neutral context.

Crypto trades 24/7. Indian users often see large moves during US evening hours (IST). The index is global, not India-specific, but timestamps on FynSight are always IST.
