Understanding Sector Performance

Sector performance is not random. Money rotates between sectors based on the economic cycle, interest rates, commodity prices, and institutional positioning. Understanding why a sector is leading helps distinguish between temporary moves and sustainable trends. A sector that is leading because of a structural shift (like IT services during the digital transformation wave) behaves differently from a sector leading because of a short-term catalyst (like metals during a commodity price spike).

How FII/DII Flows Drive Sector Performance
